Top Ten Sunburn Remedies

oh Look you fell asleep in the sun now your as red as a lobster, AGAIN well when you stop screaming try these methods to soothe the burn.

1.Tea Black tea, Green tea it doesn't matter
Brew tea (the stronger the better). Black tea is best because it's the tannins in the tea that will help with the burn. Cool the tea and apply with wash rags. Do not rinse, but "layer" the tea over the burned area until you've used up the tea. Rinse the next day. This is one of the best home remedies I've tried for providing both burn relief and healing. and the tea can help soothe your skin. Placing cold tea tea bags on the eyelids and affected areas can help reduce inflammation and sting. Try soaking a sponge with the cooled tea and applying it to the sunburned areas.

2. Lavender Essential Oil
Not only does lavender oil relieve burn pain, it may help prevent peeling when applied immediately. The better quality oil, the better the result.

3.Cucumber
Place sliced cucumbers on burned skin or make a puree from peeled cucumbers and slather generously.

4.Vitamin E Oil
This is best used after treating the burn with one of the above solutions. Use Vitamin E Oil generously for several days to keep the burned area hydrated.

5.Potato Peels
This ancient remedy also works wonders. Using potato peel bandages over sunburned skin moisturizes and provides anti-bacterial support that assist the skin in healing quickly

6.Apple Cider Vinegar
Add "sunburn relief" to the list of remedies this wonderful little cure all tackles. You can add 2 tbsp of cool apple cider vinegar to a spray bottle of water and spray on burn area. You can also add 2 cups of apple cider vinegar to a bath of cool water and soak for 30 minutes. It doesn't smell great, but it works wonders in quickly repairing your skin.

7.Yogurt
All natural, full-fat yogurt works best. Slather over burned skin and leave until it's warmed up, approximately 20 minutes. You can add aloe vera gel to the mixure or stick with yogurt. Repeat until you've used up your yogurt and finish with a nice cool shower.

8.Coconut Oil

This versatile oil is loaded with skin-nourishing fatty acids that make it a gentle moisturizer, and it comes in handy as a burn reliever, too. "It helps calm the skin's stinging, burning feeling

9. Rose water

It's one of the world's oldest cosmetics, known for hydrating, and being soothing to sensitive skin in the process. cool your store-bought or DIY rosewater in the fridge before misting it over a burn.

avoid “synthetic rose ingredients as they have no therapeutic properties

10.Baking Soda

"Sunburns are painful at first because the pH of the skin is lower," “Baking soda's higher pH normalizes the acidity of the burned skin and makes it feel more comfortable.

go straight for a bath with baking soda. add ¼ cup of baking soda into a lukewarm water or creating a paste with ¼ cup baking soda and five drops of lavender essential oil. "Mix and apply until it dries, and then rinse it off with cool water.

11.Aloe Vera Gel
For sunburn there is nothing better than aloe vera gel; it is antibacterial and deeply healing for burns in part because of aloectin B, which stimulates the immune system. Aloe vera gel is used in hospitals for burn victims. Aloe Vera comes from the aloe vera plant, and the gel may be squeezed from its leaves, or you can buy pure aloe vera gel as a product in most health food stores.
